Our portfolio includes further Private Equity activities: In the context of our Private Equity Advisory Service, we offer non-U.S. customers such as the Siemens Pension Fund pro-fessional consulting in Private Equity asset allocation. As of January 2009, Siemens Venture Capital launched its first fund-of-funds: Siemens Global Innovation Partners I which was offered also to non-Siemens/non-U.S. investors.
SVC is divided into (i) Siemens Venture Capital GmbH (non-U.S. based) and (ii) Siemens Financial Services, Inc. (U.S. based) NEITHER of which are registered, or intend to register, as Investment Advisers pursuant to the U.S. Investment Advisers Act (the Act) or shall engage in activities that would require registration under the Act.
No SVC entity or personnel shall provide any investment advice that contravenes the terms of the Act.
Accordingly, no investment advice may be provided by Siemens Financial Services Inc. to any third party, and Siemens Venture Capital GmbH may only advise non-U.S. customers.
