Madeline Muhua Song joined Siemens Venture Capital in July 2005. Based in Beijing, China, Ms. Song is the Investment Partner for our activities in China. She is responsible for Siemens Venture Capital direct investment in Greater China.
Ms. Song works mainly on early to expansion stage technology-focused companies. Areas of interest include, among other things, semiconductor, RFID, automation, automotive, sensor, IT, water, and energy saving related technologies. She would like to work with management teams that demonstrate strength in technology ownership, and have confidence in market development.
Prior to joining Siemens Venture Capital, Ms. Song was acting Managing Director of First Group Holding, Ltd. in China for two years. Before that, she worked in top firms in a variety of industries including semiconductor, robotics automation, and life science in the United States. Ms. Song has a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, and a Master of Business Administration.
Ms. Song is now serving as a standing committee member of China Foreign Overseas Association (FOA) under FESCO and Vice General Secretary to the China Science and Technology Personnel Association under the Ministry of Science and Technology.
